Why I Want to Help

I live in the South Shore, and would love to find a local school district to complete my clinical placement requirement. I would work with a certified, school-based SLP to assist with their caseload under their guidance.

  • Practicum Site - 50 clinical hours (so far)
  • Clinical internship - identification and assessment of children and adults with communication disorders.
  • Caseload consisted of articulation, language, fluency, voice and pragmatics in both small group and individual therapy sessions.

Los Angeles Speech and Language Center

Aug 2012 – July 2013, Los Angeles

  • Volunteer clinician
  • Assisted with group and private therapy sessions with children and adolescents diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome, high functioning autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
